With its grand Victorian architecture and elegant interiors, it offered a timeless backdrop for Melissa and Dan’s celebration. The historic setting added a touch of grandeur to the day while still feeling warm and relaxed.
One of the standout elements of their wedding was how close we were to the breathtaking beauty of the Peak District. Just minutes from the venue, we were able to sneak away for half an hour, find a stunning natural backdrop, capture a series of relaxed couples portraits, and return just in time for the wedding breakfast. It’s these kinds of opportunities that make weddings in Buxton so special—where heritage venues and beautiful countryside meet so seamlessly.
The energy at the reception was amazing. Guests filled the dance floor from early evening, and the speeches brought both laughter and emotion. It was clear how loved Melissa and Dan are, and how much joy surrounded their marriage.
