An Emotional Celebration at The Orangery Ingestre – Nia & Mike's Wedding
Nia and Mike's wedding day was full of meaningful moments, love, and celebration from start to finish. Their day began at their beautiful local church—a place filled with history and heartfelt connections. The ceremony was deeply personal, with moving vows and a special appearance from their son, which made it all the more emotional and memorable.
After the ceremony, the celebrations continued at The Orangery at Ingestre, one of the most elegant and picturesque wedding venues in Staffordshire. Surrounded by rolling gardens and timeless architecture, The Orangery created the perfect setting for their evening reception. The venue’s charm and natural beauty gave us a stunning backdrop for relaxed couple portraits, with vibrant gardens and soft golden light bringing everything to life.
We took a short walk through the grounds before the guests arrived, allowing Nia and Mike to share some peaceful time together. These quiet moments away from the crowd are often the most touching—authentic, unscripted, and full of emotion. As a photographer, I love to step back during times like these and simply let the couple be themselves. It's in these candid moments that the true essence of a wedding day shines through.
The Orangery at Ingestre Hall is a wonderful choice for couples seeking a mix of history, elegance, and countryside charm. The naturally lit interiors and beautifully maintained gardens offer an ideal setting for both daytime portraits and evening celebrations. The reception was full of laughter, joyful reunions, and plenty of dancing—everything you could wish for from a celebration of love.
As a wedding photographer in Staffordshire, capturing weddings at venues like The Orangery is always a treat. It’s a space that enhances the atmosphere of the day while offering so many opportunities for creative and emotive photography.
It was an absolute pleasure to be part of Nia and Mike's big day. Their warmth and connection made photographing their story an unforgettable experience. I’m already looking forward to the next time I return to The Orangery Ingestre for another incredible celebration.

Nia and Mike’s Kind words;
Before I start telling you about the quality of our wedding photos, let me tell you about the man behind the camera, Bradley. He is professional, courteous, polite and extremely attentive and, in my opinion goes above and beyond expectations. He has such a strong work ethic and didn't stop working from the moment he arrived to the moment he left.
Now for the photos...We hired Bradley after seeing his website and Instagram. We loved his style and noticed straight away that we could see each and every couples personality in their photos. Bradley was snapping shots all day long but it barely felt like he was there!. He handed us a small box during our reception and said "this is just a little gift from me to you". When we opened it up to see a stack of Polaroids giving us a glimpse of what our day had looked like so far, it was hard to contain our emotions. What a beautiful gesture. Within a 48 hours we received our sneak peek digital album which had us both in tears. You can imagine how we reacted to our full album!.
Bradley, you captured a very significant moment in my life..not only marrying my soul mate, but me receiving my spiritual inheritance from my Dad, our 200 year old family Bible. I now have ownership of something that has served my family for generations and I also have photos of a very special moment between me and my dad. Thank you so much for how you conducted yourself in that moment. You stayed far enough away for it to be private but just close enough to capture the love and emotions shared.
We will be treating ourselves to a wedding album for Christmas from Bradley's online store and have told our guests that they should consider buying their favourite personal shots from there too.
Thank you Bradley.
