Sherwood Pines Nottingham Wedding Photographer

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Rob and Nichola's engagement shoot! We met at Sherwood Pines in Nottingham on an absolutely blistering day, though it was only early in the morning the heat was getting to me already I reckon! Nevertheless, it was an absolute blast capturing their love and witnessing their excitement for their upcoming wedding day.

Rob and Nichola were incredible fun throughout the shoot, and their energy was contagious. They had this amazing chemistry that made every shot natural and filled with emotion, usually laughter!

Sherwood Pines provided a stunning backdrop for our session. The lush greenery and beautiful sunlight added a touch of magic to the photos. From a photography standpoint it was also ideal as though the sun was beating down there was lots of lovely shade to be found to avoid the harsh sunlight on their faces. We explored the forest, finding picturesque spots that perfectly complemented Rob and Nichola's relaxed vibe.

Listening to their plans for their wedding day got me really excited. When Rob first emailed me he said that they would love to have me be part of their insanity and I absolutely loved hearing about all of the crazy fun ideas that I can't wait to capture - no spoilers just yet but I think it's going to be a wedding to remember. I’m sure it will be hitting the blog at some point next year!

As a Nottingham wedding photographer, my goal is to capture moments that truly reflect the love and connection between couples. Rob and Nichola's engagement shoot was a perfect example of that. I believe in capturing real emotions, not just posed shots. I want my clients to feel comfortable and at ease, allowing their love to shine through in every image, hopefully this handful of images shows that.

I am grateful to Rob and Nichola for allowing me to be a part of their wedding and trusting me to document this special time in their lives. It was an incredible experience, and I am looking forward to capturing even more beautiful moments on their wedding day, as well as a little bit of ‘insanity’
