Danielle and Jhoshua’s wedding was one of those days that made me smile all over again as I went through their gallery. It was a perfect mix of heartfelt moments and absolute hilarity – the kind of day that reminds me why I love being a wedding photographer. (Also, fun fact: I told them we were going to be wedding twins since I thought I was getting married on their date next year… turns out I was a day off. Oops!)
After a relaxed morning capturing bridal prep, the rest of the celebration took place at The Chase Golf Club in Staffordshire. The team there were incredibly welcoming, and the wide-open grounds gave us a stunning backdrop for evening portraits. With the golden-hour light hitting just right, it made my job an absolute dream.
What stood out most about Danielle and Jhoshua’s day was how laid-back and joyful everything felt. Their guests were fully in the spirit of celebration – and the dancefloor? Complete chaos in the best possible way. From high-energy dancing to spontaneous shapes being thrown, it was a blast to photograph.
As a documentary-style wedding photographer based in Staffordshire, I love days like this – where the laughter is loud, the moments are real, and the couple are fully enjoying every second of their wedding. Danielle and Jhoshua’s love for each other shone through in every frame, and their happiness was infectious.
