Amy and Ayden’s wedding at Shottle Hall in Derbyshire was an absolute joy to be part of. Full of laughter, love, and plenty of personality, it was one of those days that proves you don’t need perfect weather for a perfect celebration.
While the wind and occasional rain made an appearance, nothing could dampen the mood. In fact, the blustery conditions gave their confetti photos an unexpected charm – petals swirling in the breeze, adding a whimsical touch to the moment. And when the rain finally paused, we grabbed the chance to dash outside for some stunning portraits in Shottle Hall’s beautiful grounds.
As a Derbyshire wedding photographer, I focus on capturing real, unscripted moments – the laughter, the connection, the blink-and-you-miss-it expressions that define a day. Amy and Ayden made this easy. From the relaxed morning prep to their energetic dancefloor antics in the evening, every part of their day was filled with warmth and spontaneity.
Shottle Hall provided a truly elegant setting, combining classic charm with breathtaking countryside views. It was the perfect backdrop to tell Amy and Ayden’s wedding story – from the emotional ceremony to the hilarious moments shared between friends and family throughout the reception.
